I found Simply Blush 'accidentally' due to a boutique close to my job with a similar name. I visited the one closest to me first and fell in love with a long sleeve Maggie Sottero gown. However, when I looked at some of the photos from Simpy Blush on google, I noticed a long sleeve lace dress that I thought would be perfect for my venue.
So I made an appointment with them on Labor Day (I was surprised they were open!) and drove almost 3 hours to a chic little boutique in the quiet little town of Zebulon. At this point I had been to 3 different bridal boutiques and had varying experiences at all of them, however none of them gave me quite the experience that I received at Simply Blush Bridal.
I had the store to myself and Melissa actually went in the dressing room with me to help me get into the dresses and yall. They had the A/C PUMPING in that piece and even had two fans in the dressing room with us! In swampy North Carolina in September that alone deserves 5 stars!
Because of my wedding date the dress I initially went to the store to try on wouldn't be here in time (I probably should've called and asked before driving so far but hindsight is 20/20), so Melissa had several different options for me to try and all of them could have sleeves added if I wanted. The last dress she brought out was discontinued and on sale and it fit really well, but I just didn't love it. I talked myself into buying it because of the price point and convinced myself that I could make myself love it once it had sleeves, but I immediately regretted that decision.
I cried for literally 3 days straight because I knew the store's return policy and thought I was stuck with this dress. I finally decided to call the store and although they were technically closed for renovations they still had someone there to answer the phone should a distressed bride need assistance (me, I'm the distressed bride).
So I call and get Katie who is as sweet as she can be and through tears and sobbing explain what is going on and she told me she would speak to the owners and get back with me.
To make an already long review short, they allowed me to exchange the dress and veil I purchased for the long sleeve Maggie Sottero I wanted from the other boutique! Not only that but their response time to my emails was INSANE. I found out later they were traveling but still made the time and effort to make sure I was okay and had what I wanted/needed.
I CAN NOT say enough good things about this place! You can tell they all genuinely care about their brides because they kept saying 'we want you to be happy' and that I am! So if you're in the area, or even if you're not, definitely make the trip to Zebulon, NC. It may be a small boutique but they have huge hearts and the best customer service I've ever experienced. 10/10 would recommend.
